Buy a window...become a part of Kirkwood History

Support the Kirkwood Historical Society and help with the continued restoration of Mudd's Grove, Kirkwood's History house, museum and library by contributing to the shutter program.
When the restoration of Mudd's Grove began, window shutters were removed so that the exterior walls could be strengthened. The badly deteriorated shutters had to be scrapped. Mudd's Grove has remained shutterless to this day.
Now, you can help complete the restoration of Mudd's Grove by buying a window, or, if you prefer, part of a window. a contribution of $500 will buy shutters on one window. All contributions are gratefully received and will go toward the window dressing of this fabulous Civil War era home in the heart of Kirkwood.

  • Contributions of $100 or more will receive special recognition as follows:
  • $1000 Framed Jon Pils poster of historic Kirkwood buildings
  • $500 Unframed Jon Pils poster or ornament
  • $250 $20 gift certificate for Gatehouse Gift Shop
  • $100 $10 gift certificate for Gatehouse Gift Shop
  • Memorials ($300 or more) - Inscribed brick on Mudd's Grove grounds
  • Donors of $500 or more will be listed in the Mudd's Grove donor book.

Send donations to Kirkwood Historical Society, P.O. Box 220602, Kirkwood, MO 63122.
